Structured interviews are an essential piece of the puzzle for creating a fair and efficient hiring process. That’s why our product team has been working hard to improve our Alva Interview feature, and they’ve come up with some exciting updates!
Here’s what’s new:
We know many of you have requested this feature, and now it's live! It's now super easy to include instructions to the interview template, for both yourself and your hiring managers. It’s a great way to make structured interviews even more structured!
In a structured interview, there are still some questions you simply can't rate, like salary expectations, notice periods, or involvement in other recruitment processes. That's why we’ve upgraded this feature, giving you more options to create questions that don't require a rating.
No more jumping back and forth! Now, you can create and edit both instructions and criteria directly within the job setup, allowing you to tailor each interview to its specific needs without starting from scratch in the content library. Great, right?
The Criteria library is no longer just about criteria, so we’ve updated the name.
What’s been improved:
Now you can format your instructions and criteria with bullet points, italics, bold text, hyperlinks, and more – giving you complete control over how your content looks and reads.
